What a fab month last month was. Our environment is so important, especially to a cat!
Such a hot topic in the news recently, we really need to look after our environment.
What I found interesting is that environment has so many different meanings to people.
The Environment for a Cat is very different to humans!
It was great to see how so many aspects of our environment are important,
We had so many varied guests this month, all were really informative and interesting to interview on our shows.
DC Tracey Earley from the Cheshire Police Cyber Crime Team came on the Late lunch and spoke to about how to keep ourselves safe in our online environment, there was so much to think about and it’s so important that we know how to be safe. We were also joined by Sgt Rob Simpson from the Rural Crime Team who talked about their work.
Councillor Quentin Abel came in to the Late Lunch and explains his role as an environmental champion at Cheshire East, it was really interesting to know what projects Cheshire East have going on.
One thing that is clear that us walking and riding more will definitely help the environment. Was great to hear from Ben Wye talking about ACTive Travel Crewe and their cycling initiative. It made me want to invest in a bike!
The materials that we use and the way in which we recycle is so important for our environment in the future. It was great to have ANSA on twice, talking about Recycling & Plastics and then Reducing Food Waste & Composting and Gibsons’ Greengrocer’s & Deli and The Store Nantwich who explained how we can all do our bit to help the environment by becoming plastic free.
It was also good to hear about the work of Love Crewe Community Garden
What I really did enjoy was when Crewe Town Mayor came in and explained about scarecrow competition. Scarecrows and me are not the best of friends, they definitely scare me and I always come across them when I least expect it!
Novembers focus can’t be any more exciting for me with the topic being food!!
Look forward to finding out what guests we have on…..
