Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service: Cadet Leaders – Wednesday or Thursday evenings

In association with the Princess Trust, volunteers form part of an enthusiastic team who interact with young people in a variety of environments using creative transferable skills.

 

Crossroads Care Cheshire Manchester & Merseyside: Street Collectors

Could you spare an hour or two, on the 20th and 21st September? Street collections are a great way of both fundraising and raising the profile of Crossroads Care Cheshire

Manchester & Merseyside. The money you raise will enable us to help as many carers as possible.

 

Cheshire Neighbours Credit Union: Volunteer Coordinator - weekdays 2 half days

Coordinate, and support our volunteers through targeted recruitment, application and selection procedures and ensure that volunteers are supported in their roles and receive adequate recognition, development, and training

 

Wulvern Housing: RISE (Scrutiny Panel) Volunteerflexible weekdays

RISE work independently but in partnership with Wulvern to investigate, scrutinise and research the quality of services at Wulvern Housing on behalf of all customers. Only Wulvern tenants and leaseholders are eligible for this role.

 

Age UK Cheshire: Men in Sheds Volunteer – Mon, Tues, Weds or Thurs

Lead on woodworking activities/discussions to encourage older men, who may be socially isolated, to share skills &/or learn new ones.

Alzheimer’s Society Cheshire East: Singing for the Brain Volunteer12.30 – 3.00pm Tuesday

An interesting and varied role where you will engage with people with dementia to make them feel comfortable and able to participate in singing and movement activities.

 

Age UK: Shop volunteer – weekdays or Saturday

Do you have a flair for fashion, or an eye for antiques?  Our volunteers sort and price donations, stock our shop and serve our customers.

 

Nantwich Museum: Dementia & Reminiscence Support Volunteer – 3 hours twice a month to include some Monday afternoons

Help develop and deliver sessions based on reminiscence. This will include using objects and assisting with activities such as crafts.
