Twichy Blog August Round Up

What a busy and fantastic month we had in August, I was so busy I didn’t get chance to have any Cat naps!

Although cats are usually a little afraid of children our #childrensmonth was fabulous with more amazing guests.

We had Fraser School of Irish Dance and Born2Groove on the show, was great finding out how to dance, with 4 legs it is however quite difficult!! However, hearing how much the children enjoy it was really inspiring.

I really enjoyed hearing about the scouting community at Wistaston and Crewe and Nantwich Fire Cadets, these activities are so valuable for children, and the skills they learn are skills for life, definitely puts me to shame. Both organisations have lots of groups that run in the local community.

Crewe Town Football Club came on and spoke to Ian about all the football opportunities that they have for both boys and girls in the area, they help support and train children to be the best footballers they can be.

Nantwich Town Wolves Visually Impaired Football Club came on and spoke about their new club, they help to build confidence and fun in football for the visually impaired. What an absolutely brill idea. I myself always get a bit nervy when a football is around, just in case they head my way!

We also had the gymnastics in from Sandbach Gymnastics, this is definitely is one for me, Cats are good are getting themselves into some great positions!

It was great to hear all about the groups and the opportunities that the clubs offer to young people in the local area.

Cant wait for Septembers guests to come in and see us.
