Barry Daly Memorial Trophy – Nantwich Town 1 – 4 Crewe Alexandra

Nantwich Town FC continued their 2021/22 pre-season campaign on Sunday 11th July with a midday kick-off against Sky Bet League One side Crewe Alexandra, for the ‘Barry Daly Memorial Trophy’, at Optimum Pay Group Stadium on Water Lode in Nantwich.

Barry Daly was a long-term member of the Gresty Road support staff and a well-known friend of Nantwich Town over the years – who passed away in 2019.

The game was preceded by a minutes applause for “Grandad” John Davies, who passed away recently after a short illness.
