A Cheshire College – South & West student has secured a position at a historic hotel in Niederau, Austria, after completing his Level 3 course in Professional Cookery.
Starting his post-College career at one of the most reputable hotels in Niedearu, Alejandro says: ‘Living in Austria is very quiet and peaceful. I love the nature here and it makes you realise what a great world we have.’
Cheshire College offers a wide variety of Hospitality and Catering courses for students, providing access to modern commercial kitchens, including on-site AA Rosette standard Academy Restaurants. Students also have the opportunity to gain industry experience along the way as they provide catering services at large events and work closely with businesses in the industry such as Brunning and Price, Luke Thomas, One Planet, Nantwich FC, and Chester Racecourse.

“The Professional Cookery course provided me with an amazing opportunity to fully immerse myself, overcome challenges and meet wonderful people. I learnt so much and loved every minute of it.”
Fellow Cheshire College Hospitality and Catering Alumni have also gone onto have fulfilling careers as Chefs, Events Managers, Food Technologists, and Hotel Managers.
