Events at Nantwich Museum in February include children’s workshops during half term and a celebration of Pancake Day.
“Dreams of Nantwich” the popular temporary exhibition in the Museum’s Millennium Gallery will provide inspiration for water colour painting during the children’s workshops which take place on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 February 2020.
There will be arts and crafts, quizzes and an opportunity to design the museum of the future. All workshops are drop in any time between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm. The cost is £2.00 per child who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.
The Museum celebrates Pancake Day on Shrove Tuesday 25th February. Pancakes and refreshments will be served in the Millennium Gallery from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm. The cost is £3.50 per person for two pancakes with sugar and lemon plus a cup of tea or coffee. Large groups are requested to book in advance. As usual the popular event is organised by museum volunteers to raise funds to support the museum a registered charity.
