Dance Sing Play, What’s it all about?

Due to circumstances beyond our control and in order to maximise the amount of money we raise for the charities involved we are postponing Dance Sing Play.  More information on the rescheduled date coming soon.

On September 14th The Cat are hosting a community event to promote local talent and at the same time raising funds for two local charities.

The Cat is the only licensed community radio station in Crewe and Nantwich and we see ourselves as the heart of the community and came up with the idea due to there being so much local talent in the local area.

We wanted to support these dancers and singers as well as give the local community the opportunity to visit Crewe Lyceum.

We then wanted to support two local charities and Elle’s Wishes and Mid Cheshire Hospital Charities are two that the team wanted to support.

The whole event is Community focussed.

The day is split into two events, the afternoon is Dance and Sing, where local dancers from Frasers Irish Dancers will be performing as well as street dancers from TGA. Matrix Cheer Squad and Via Dance will also be performing a variety of dance routines.

Local choirs will then be showcasing their great talent, the choirs that will be performing are
Gathered Voices Womens Choir
Nightingale Choir
MicWire Choir

The evening performance is all about local musicians with a line-up of up and coming local talent,

These include:

The Blue Yellows
Callum Wright
Green Bullet
Bad Duke and Beggars
Megan Lee
And Oli Ng.

Ticket prices are very reasonable.  The Dance and Sing show in the afternoon is  just £6.50 for children and £11.50 for adults, with a family ticket (two adults, two children under 10yrs) at £31.00.  The Play show in the evening is £16.50 for all tickets.   The ticket sales are all supporting 2 great local charities. Come along and support your local community.
