Local DJ Alan Woodhouse has kept the spirits up of his fans during the pandemic in 2020 and into the new year.
During 2020 Alan streamed over fifty hours of live music from his house in Nantwich to people all around the world via Facebook and PlayDJ.TV.
His fifty hours included a set to raise awareness and show support to how the Coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on the live music sector for DJs, entertainers, and the events industry, which includes nightclubs and live music venues.
He has already performed in 2021 with a New Year’s Day online gig, with more online gigs already scheduled for the weeks ahead.
Alan has been DJing since 1994, playing Trance, Disco/Nu Disco, Funky House and Old Skool House music.
Alan Woodhouse said: “Music has been a large part of my life for many years, as it can move you in many ways. I love the Classics – Trance/Disco/House, but also like finding brand new stuff too. I cannot wait to get back to playing out and about again, once we can do so, and normality, eventually, starts to return.”
