Megan Lee said: “The Cat have been supportive in so many ways with my singing career and my health, or lack of it! I am a long-term sufferer of a back condition called Spondylolisthesis and also have Fibromyalgia, so in January I faced another major back operation – my second and hopefully my last! “The Cat have always had my back” – excuse the pun! It’s great to feel I can give something back to them co-hosting with Gary Johnson.
“I believe the most important thing you can give someone is your time, so we all work perfectly well together, as they are an amazing community providing the greater community love and support especially through the strange days of Covid19. I am proud to be part of such an amazing group of people.
“A special thanks to Gary Johnson who has been there for me through thick and thin on my road to recovery and a new me. I am the new Bionic Woman of The Cat!”
Gary Johnson said: “It’s fantastic to have Megs back and see her in great health. She’s been through a huge operation and has been working hard to get back to full fitness, but ever the professional, after 10 minutes in the studio it was like she’d never been away. Hosting the breakfast show is an absolute privilege, Thursday though, are back to being my favourite mornings.”
Chris Cadman, Managing Director, The Cat community radio said: “It is great to have Megan back on-air following her surgery. The duo brightens up a Thursday morning and once again shows our commitment as a local community radio station to have local people presenting shows on The Cat.”
