Long-Distance Sponsored Walk for Local Visually-Impaired Football Club

Players and friends of Nantwich Town Wolves Visually Impaired Football Club are going on a sponsored 42-mile walk on Saturday 12th September 2020 to raise money for the club.

This annual walk will start in Nantwich and finish in Hayfield in the Peak District.

All money raised will go to Nantwich Town Wolves Visually Impaired Football Club towards helping with their transport and the day-to-day running of the club.

Event organiser, Craig Acton, said: “Myself and the other participants will be pushing our bodies and minds to breaking point. Any donations would be gratefully received, and we would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support.”

Nantwich Town Wolves VIFC give free pan-disability football training sessions every Friday (7-8pm) on Nantwich Town Football Club’s 3G pitch at The Weaver Stadium, Waterlode, Nantwich CW5 5BS. The sessions are open to anyone aged 16 and over with a disability.

Nantwich Town Wolves VIFC is run by Craig Acton and Keir Welch and sponsored by local disability company Direct Access.
