Nantwich’s Christmas Competition

2020 was not the year we were expecting and threw many hurdles our way and a competition was launched in December to encourage local residents to shop local when the shops reopened after lockdown. The aim of the competition was to keep business in our town and help our independent traders that we are so lucky to have.

Up for grabs was a top prize of £100 to spend in the town and a pair of Ray-Ban Sunglasses courtesy of Pinningtons Opticians, with 10 runners up each bagging one of the Nutcrcakers figurines.

Unfortunately, the competition had to end abruptly with the Government announcing another lockdown and closure of all non-essential retailers.

Whilst we received a great response to the competition we have now found ourselves in a situation where the nutcracker prizes are locked away until lockdown eases.

Therefore, we have made the decision to pause the announcement of the competition winners until the lockdown eases and our shops re-open.

In the meantime, we urge you to still support our local traders, the market is open for essential items and many of the independent shops are offering some wonderful online services and home deliveries. Visit you favourite shops on Facebook for more information.
