In The Borrow a Bookshop Holiday, Jude rents a tumbledown bookshop by the sea in Clove Lore, Devon, for a fortnight. When fellow bookseller-holidaymaker Elliot turns up unannounced, she discovers she’s not the only one running away from real life. Only one bed, bookselling and blossoming romance.

Kiley Dunbar said: “What a fabulous evening! The turnout was great, and we all had a wonderful time talking about writing, publishing and romance. There was lots of laughter and a great sense of community after so long spent indoors over the last year and a half. Thank you to everyone at the Bookshop for all the hard work that went into making the night a success.”

Denise Lawson, Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge, said: “Kiley Dunbar’s author event was all we could wish for. What a lovely author. We had a full house and hope that this will be the first of many more events to come.”

Future events at Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge include:

  • ‘An Evening BBQ with Phil Rylance’ takes place this Friday 24th September (doors open 6:30pm). Cash bar available. Tickets are £15 and include a BBQ dinner. Relive some of the stories and memories of life on the road in the 60’s with local bands such as The Hot Rods, The Crescents and The Scorpions. From Crewe Town Hall to The Cavern and recording at Abbey Road, an evening of chat and live music not to be missed!
  • Yvette Fielding launches her book ‘The House in the Woods’. This event is sold out with a new date pending.
